New Generation School Program Retreat Meeting on Addressing Challenges for the Future
On 16-17 June 2022, the New Generation School Program organized a meeting on solving challenges for the future, which was held under the chair of His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports at the Hun Sen Kampong Cham High School Auditorium. The total number of participants is 43, including: the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, national and provincial boards, NGS program staffs and other relevant education partners. The purpose of this meeting is to review the status of the new generation of school reforms to date, to identify ongoing challenges and to pave the way for future expansion. His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, said: NGS program is a good model for education reform to produce human resources for for digital education which students have enough learning material (learning with experiment). Student could participate in subject club, coding classess, project work, especially to promote teaching and learning style. As a result, the new generation school program will develop a strategy as well as a follow-up plan to ensure that the implementation of the program in schools provides quality education.
