Observic Training for NGS Schools

The New Generation School Program has developed a platform called Observic for High School, used to make it easier for teachers to improve their teaching assignments and develop their skills use of technology in education  Not only that, not only the teachers in a school who get supervision and advice from the manager, the technical, team leader, the pedagogical advisor in their school, the teachers can get good feedback from experienced people in the whole new generation school network at once (cross-school counseling). And what’s even more special is that all the good videos are stored in “Good Practice” to share with other teachers for a better follow-up or creative experience.

What is Observic?

Observic is a system that provides feedback on learning practices, distance learning and teaching, and sharing good practices with ease. Observic program instead of direct evaluation (face to face) and save time and money on training, coaching, pedagogical counseling, compliance with quality assurance and recruitment. The Observic program provides digital competency assessment solutions for learning by remote assessment and quality assurance. In addition, when evidence of good practice is recorded, Observic can disseminate those good practices to all students in the system to complement and serve as a model for their training.

Why Observic?

Any training experience, no matter at what level or in what field, is twofold. These sections simply focus on:

  • Here’s how… (training)
  • Now show me how well you can do … (competency assessment)

Digital technology makes training easier to use and less expensive, but most programs focus on providing training rather than capacity assessment.

Observic Overview:

  • Record teaching-learning video or audio or attach any files.
  • Upload media files into Observic by attaching files as needed.
  • Students, colleagues, personal managers, trainers, coaches, evaluators, pedagogical advisors provide feedback on the media.
  • The results of the feedback are provided to the learner (recipient of the feedback) and compiled into a report.
  • In a good practice library, all staff can use it as a source of ideas and training.
  • Good practices are identified to retain user-generated training content.
  • Report data for pedagogical counseling, monitoring, evaluation and auditing.

Reasons for investing in Mentoring are based on the 70-20-10 model.
