On May 09, 2023, at the meeting hall of Prek Leap New Generation High School, Phnom Penh, the New Generation School Program organized the National New Generation School Board Meeting, which started at 8 am with high participation from the Chairman of the National Board, HE Lor Chhovanna And members Mr. Hin Sim Hourn, KAPE vice principal, Mr. Ul Run, KAPE Senior Advisor , Program leader, Professional officers, as well as the principals from the new generation schools.
At the beginning of the program, HE Lor Chhovanna, Chairman of the National Board, welcomed the participants and all the members and participants and explained the purpose of the meeting.
Then, there is a presentation on the progress report of the new school program program 2022-2023 of the two schools:
- Yor Prek Leap High School, Phnom Penh
- Akka Moha Thamma Pothisal Chea Sim Prek Anchanh High School, Kandal Province
There will be a report seeking support from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports on the expansion and recruitment of two New Generation Schools by 2024, using reduced funds from the old new generation schools to support new school activities by Mr. Ul Run, President Implement a New Generation School program.
After the above three presentations, the ceremony raised the main challenges that the New Generation School program is facing to discuss together to find a good solution that is appropriate and acceptable to implement. Make the project run better.
After discussing the challenges, Dr. Chanrath presented the program progress report at NGPRC New Generation School Teacher Training Center 2022-23 (Results of the implementation of the action program) and suggestions to the relevant National Board. And request to upgrade the framework for pedagogical advisors who have successfully completed the New Generation Pedagogical Center of the National Institute of Education And Report on the Results of the Accreditation of the New Generation School Program and the decision to award the certificate to the school for the 2023 school year by Mr. Phan Bunnath, the Accreditation Evaluation Committee of the New Generation School.
Finally, HE Lor Chovanna made suggestions to make the implementation of the new generation program more effective and thanked all the participants for their ideas and participation in solving the problems encountered in the past. And requesting the prior notice of all requests related to the board of directors in order to respond in a timely manner.
