The New Generation School Program has organized a two-day training course from 16 to January 17, 2024 on the use of the Early Warning System (EWS) for two new generation schools Aranh Rangsei Secondary School in Siem Reap and Preah Ang Duong High School in Prey Veng to facilitate the management of teaching and learning for the new academic year 2023-2024. The program was led by Mr. Chin Phirun, the ICT Team Leader, and coordinated by the New Generation School Program Officers.
This course focuses on the process of managing schools using digital technology, setting up schools, buildings, classrooms, creating accounts for principals, teachers in the system, creating classrooms, creating schedules, managing student attendance, and monitoring student behavior. Entering points, managing points, academic results, etc.
It should be noted that this early warning system has been piloted in the past year on some new generation schools and other schools that are related to KAPE projects, especially in other new generation schools such as Preah Sisowath high school. Prek Leap, Prek Anchanh, Peam Chi Kang and Kampong Cham use NGS Mobile similar application.
